Last Updated 05/30/98 Princess Louisa is a very popular site. I find myself going back to visit every couple of years. The beauty of this inlet is beyond description; you must visit it to understand. It hides behind a very small dog leg of an entrance and is well hidden. Even Admiral Vancouver missed it during his exploration for the Northwest Passage. On the last trip in we came across a Canadian sailboat that required assistance to the float at the head of the inlet. At the head of the inlet is Chatterbox Falls; an impressive site. I also like to hike up the mountain to an old trappers cabin. My claim is that if you survive the hike you should be in good enough health to last at least another couple of years. John and Darlene Backlund also found the hike entertaining. On our way out of the inlet we were passed by this 80' sailboat in the fog. Hit Counter |
