Last Updated 05/30/98 Washington, at least Puget Sound, is a boaters paradise. There must be more boat-per-capta here than most other places. I Keep the Easy III in a covered pier at the Port Orchard Municipal Marina. This marina collapsed last winter but has been rebuilt and I move back in in February this year. The new coverings are quite a bit higher and allow much more light than the old so maybe that old storm was a blessing in disguise. Anyway this is a convenient location about mid-way between the North and South Puget Sounds. Usually the North Sound refers to the San Juan's down to about Everett. The South Sound refers to Olympia/Shelton up to about Tacoma. I refer to the Local Sound as areas like Bremerton, Hood Canal, over to Seattle/Ballard. Hit Counter |
