What Can We Do?

Our attorney has suggested that we contact our elected Federal Representatives to let them know of our concerns about any increased release of water during the summer months from Lake Cushman or Lake Kokanee. These increased releases would effect the bullhead trout which is listed as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. We want them to know our concerns about the lake levels and the potential impact on (1) recreation at the lakes and parks, (2) danger to wildlife such as bullhead trout, Kokanee (a landlocked salmon), eagles, deer and elk, and (3) our community and property values.
